Getting Mentally Fit for Your Purpose

So you might have seen us talking about getting mentally fit for your purpose but what exactly do we mean by that?

Think about goods, we describe them as being fit for purpose, we think of ourselves in a similar way. Take a chair for example, if you can sit in it without it breaking or being super uncomfortable then great, it’s fit for purpose. It’s the same with humans. The difference with humans is that every single one of us has a different purpose, and that’s the best part!

As Einstein (apparently!) once said “The person who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The person who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever seen before.”

But defining your purpose is a bit like being wee again and someone asking you what you want to be when you grow up! You might already know your purpose and have a clear goal in mind that you want us to help with. You might want to progress in your career, you might want to achieve in your sport, you might want to become a better more rounded person for your family or you might just want to feel a little bit better everyday than the one before.

The beauty (in our opinion) of what we do is that no matter what your purpose is, we can help. We’ve had the pleasure of working everyone from multi millionaire business people to common wealth athletes and just about everyone in between. The point is if you know exactly what you want and just need our help getting there that’s great. If you’re not sure whether you need a shave or a haircut and want someone to help you get started on your mental fitness journey that’s great too!

We have a number of tried and tested little tools that we can work through with you to find out exactly what areas of your life need some work in order to allow you to move forward and be fit to do whatever it is you’re working towards. We can work with you at every stage of the process to make sure you have tools, techniques and mental fitness to get exactly what you want out of your life.

You wouldn’t neglect physical fitness to the point where you can’t get out of bed in the morning, so why is mental fitness any different?
